EMPLOYEES IN CITY. HCM IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR A VSSID ACCOUNT

Official Dispatch No. 224/BHXH-TTPTĐT [3] dated June 10, 2021 of the City Social Insurance. HCM about registering a VssID account (2 pages)

VssID account registration is considered mandatory for all civil servants, public employees, and workers in the city. HCM, registration deadline is before July 31, 2021. This requirement is stated in Official Dispatch No. 1388/UBND-VX [4] dated May 5, 2021.

According to City Social Insurance. In Ho Chi Minh City, installing VssID is a benefit for social insurance participants. Employees must install this application themselves, the business is only responsible for guidance and support.

In principle, employees must go to the social insurance agency to complete procedures before activating their VssID account. However, due to the epidemic, the social insurance agency will temporarily activate it as soon as it compares the employee's declared information with the social insurance industry's management data. As for the registration declaration, the enterprise will collect and submit it on behalf of the employee.
