On January 1, 2021, the Government issued Resolution 02, assessing the business environment and international competitiveness of our country over the past 5 years, specifically as follows:
1.Reached 70th position in Business Environment in 2019.
2.Reached 67th position in Global Competitiveness 4.0 also in 2019.
3.Rank for sustainable development increased 34 places, ranked 49th in 2020.
Based on the achievements and efforts to develop the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has set the following main tasks and solutions for 2021:
1. Continue to fully, consistently and effectively implement tasks and solutions to achieve specific goals and targets set out in Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP (2019 and 2020). In particular, we focus on groups of specific indicators and targets, including: construction licensing, property registration, contract dispute resolution, business bankruptcy resolution, and quality of land administrative management. , information technology application, Vocational training quality, Student skills, Patent registration, Corruption control, Level of participation in online transactions, Job opportunities in intensive industries knowledge, sustainable ecological environment.
2. Focus on directing and immediately overcoming limitations and problems in coordination between agencies and units in the direction of: (i) Clearly identify the lead agency and unit; (ii) Transparent and specific delineation of rights and responsibilities of focal agencies and units and coordinating agencies and units.
3. Focus on directing the implementation of digital transformation tasks and solutions according to the "National digital transformation program to 2025, orientation to 2030" in sync with the implementation of administrative reform; Emphasizing solutions to increase readiness to adapt to new production during the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
4. Focus on directing the development and implementation of medium and long-term strategies and plans with clear goals and specific roadmaps to create solid changes in fundamental but difficult-to-improve indicators in a short time
5. Continue to focus on supporting people and businesses to restore production and business and overcome the negative impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic.
